Services for Mr Morgan
I wish to inform you that Principal Kate Segal's last day of school was Friday June 2, 2017. The staff have been informed and we are all committed to ensure little to no interruption to the education of your children these last few days.
Due to the short time left in the school year (12 school days) there is no plan for an interim principal. To assist the staff, students, parents, and community I will be spending a great deal of time at NES these last 12 days of school. I will create a schedule with Ms. Jane Johnson so if I need to be reached you will know when I am in the building.
Please do not hesitate to contact me at my SAU office phone, 603-775-8679. Or at NES where I will check messages daily.
I am excited to have the opportunity to spend so much time at NES. Truth be told, I have missed this daily interaction with students and staff a great deal! It is unfortunate the timing of this departure but I am confident your children and the school will be well cared for and we will come together as a team these last couple weeks of school and not lose focus of why we are there.
Thank you for your understanding as we make this final transition.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Too All NES Families,
If your kids come home talking about Plimouth Plantation Traveling Museum or Choose to Be Nice or Artists In Residence like Trashcan Lid Productions of Sticks and Stones or Words Do Matter or author Ryan T. Higgins, please consider supporting All School Enrichment by buying an enrichment raffle ticket. This programming makes our school unique and adds to the curriculum, but these programs are costly and are not included in the school's yearly operating budget.
The Enrichment programming calendar is a collaborative effort of all the NES teachers based on the funds available. The Enrichment Committee works with a yearly budget of $10,000 to provide these wonderful programs that add to our community.
The Raffle will be held on May 6th at Shooter's Pub in Exeter. It is a reverse raffle with only 300 tickets sold. The last ticket drawn is the Grand Prize winner of $5,000! The evening is a fun night of food, games, prizes and entertainment with friends. There is a cash bar and you must be 21 to attend the event and 18 to buy a ticket. You don't have to be present to win.
Please join the effort to provide enrichment opportunities during the school day that will be fun and educational for the students at NES! Free Family Movie Night April 21st
Friends and family who live within the SAU 16 community are cordially invited to the CMS PTO annual family free movie night on Friday, April 21st. We will be showing the movie “Sing” on a 21-foot premiere movie screen! The event will be held from 6:30 to 8:30ish at The Cooperative Middle School. The doors will open at 6:00 pm. Popcorn and a small selection of beverages will be available for those who would like to purchase some, but it is not required. Families are encouraged to bring their blankets or beach chairs for comfortable seating. The viewing will be in the gymnasium on the floor protected with tarps. This allows viewers to enjoy their take out or packed picnic dinners, drinks, and favorite movie snacks while watching the movie. We hope to see you there!
