School Goals for 2016-2017

In the coming year, our priority initiatives are summed up in the following goals. Together we will:

1. Promote, model, and communicate positive school culture thorugh the use of increased, consistent Professional Learning Communities, resulting in increased student learning.

 2.  Provide structures to design & implement Project Based Learning Units in k-5th grade classrooms and Targted Instruction, which offer student choice, ownership & goal setting, resulting in increased student learning.

These goals will assist us in meeting the Competency Based Education SAU16 vision for each graduate to demonstrate engaged learning and citizenship through the ability to solve problems independently and collaboratively with perseverance and resilience, and communicate solutions with confidence and empathy.
