Fundraising Project: "Buy-a-Hand, Wear-a-Hat"

For the past two weeks each class has been filling penny jars with money (pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, dollar coins, half dollars and paper money). We had a contest to see who could raise the most money. Below is a breakdown of each class's total:

In addition we held two special fundraising project, "Buy-a-Hand, Wear-a-Hat", where the kids purchased cut-out hands for $1.00 in order to wear their hat for the day. The hands are displayed in the multi-purpose room for everyone to see. This week we held a raffle for a "handmade" t-shirt that my students made. Between these two activities we raised $189.23 giving us a grand total of:

We are SOOOO proud of the kids, all 177 of them.
